Remembering Thomas St. Germaine

Passed peacefully at the Rama Extended Care on August 17, 2014 in his 89th year. Thomas St. Germaine of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, beloved father of Anna and the late baby Thomas. Youngest son of the late Lillian Williams and John (Jack) St. Germaine. Dear brother of the following deceased John St. Germaine (Freda)(Lena), Charles St. Germaine, Melville Simcoe (Margaret), Lilly Williams (Lawrence), Florence Shilling (Stanley), Elsie Shilling (Norman) and Nellie. Loving Uncle to Cora Simcoe (the late Wilson) and family, Lorraine, Pam (Rob), the late Maxwell, Cindy (Darryl), Patti and Robin. The Williams family of Moose Deer Point: Elaine, Donna, Larry, Sharon, Leona, Wallace, Victor and the late Judy and Alison. The Shilling family: Isabelle Bates - Doogan (the late Rick), Brenda Shilling (Brian Tingey), Teresa Shilling and Peter Shilling – Poliwog Cheeks (Anna Fazio) of Toronto and Lana Shilling (the late Walter Zotti) and the late Gregory Shilling of Rama. Special Uncle, Great Uncle, Great Great Uncle and Cousin to the St. Germaine, York and Simcoe families of Rama and Lambert Marsden and family in Mission, B.C. Thomas will be best known for his photographic memory and for his love of Jimmie Rodgers, the grandfather of country music. Special thanks to all the care givers at the Rama Extended Care Unit for your love and kindness. The family will receive friends at the Rama United Church on Wednesday from 7-9 P.M. The funeral service will be held at the Rama United Church on Thursday August 21, 2014, at 1 o’clock. Interment, Rama Cemetery.
