Remembering Margaret Lorraine Story

Passed peacefully at the Birchmere Retirement Residence in Orillia January 27, 2014 in her 96th year.  She passed as she lived – peacefully, gently, a smile on her face and surrounded by her family’s love.  Remembered for her unconditional love, ready smile, caring words, strong faith and affinity with Moon River, Bala – her legacies.  Margaret Story of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Daniel I. McTavish (1964) and the late George Story (1997). Loving mother of Bob McTavish of Bala (Janet of Milton), Diana Trusler (Chet) of Bala, Mary McTavish (Dave MacDonald) of Kilworthy and Caren McTavish Turner (Tony) of Orillia. Treasured by grandchildren,  Dana McIntyre (Joe), Heather Jerritt (Boomer), Matthew McTavish, Gillian Saxon (Geoff), Andrew McTavish (Laurie), Ryan Trusler (Anita), Shana Baptista (Seb), Brandon Jewitt (Michelle), Eryn Jewitt (Carlo Alfau), Jessica MacDonald, Jessica Bozzer Potts (David), Sarah Keller (Joshua), Heather Turner. 18 great grandchildren. 1 Great Great Grandchild. Predeceased by her brother Donald Daniels. Special Aunt to Joan , Helen , Lynn (predeceased) Nancy, Margot, Christopher and the Wilson family.  Fondly remembered by stepchildren David, Donald, and Susan Story. Margaret will be sadly missed by her many,many friends in Orillia, Bala, and Port Credit.  Thank you for the kind care to all  of the Birchmere Staff, Dr. J. Lowry and OSMH Staff.  Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held Saturday February 15, 2014 at St Paul’s Untied Church Orillia. Visitation 11am until time of service at 12 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated .
