Remembering Constance Beverley Newdick (nee Monague) 'Connie'

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loved one Connie, she passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 1st, 2024 at Georgian Bay General Hospital, ICU at the age of 86.  Wife of the late Douglas “Sam” Newdick.  The eldest grandchild of the late Albert and Isobel Monague.  Loving mother of Vernon Monague (and the late Mayanne), Janet Newdick (Mervin), Sam Newdick (Melanie).  Dear grandmother of Vernon Jr., Leslie, Tyler and Jenna, Toni, Isabel, Mervin Jr., Cheyenne, Charla, and Kayla.  Her presence will be greatly missed, she will be lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Kaden, Colton, and Nevaeh, and she will be sadly missed by all her great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and predeceased by 1 great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by her parents, the late Adeline Monague and Alec Copegog.  Will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her sisters, Jackie (Guy) and Adrienne.  Predeceased by her siblings, Rena (Manly), Dorothy (Alfred), Hilda, Clinton (Cecile). Connie will be missed by many nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.  Service details: Funeral will be held at 1 PM at Enjimaawnjiding Recreation Centre on Christian Island with the burial to follow at the Christian Island United Church Cemetey. Arrangements entrusted to Carson Funeral Homes - J.H.
