Today we celebrate the extraordinary life of Ken Taplin, a true friend to everyone he met. His remarkable spirit, inspiring stories, and compassionate heart left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Ken's unwavering dedication to his craft as a manufacturing engineer, mechinist and engineer technologist was a testament to his unrelenting passion for excellence. His enterpreneurial ventures including opening his own Fish and Chip Restaurant, building his own home, and mastering carpentry and gardening showcased his innovative and adventurous spirit. Ken's love for the east coast and its simpler lifestyle was evident in his relaxed approach demeanor. His athleticism, sense of humor, and kindness inspired countless people, and his bravery in the face of cancer was a beacon of hope. Though Ken may be gone, his spirit lives on , inspiring us to embody his kindness, compassion an generosity. As we rememeber Ken, we honor his request to support the Canadian Cancer Society. His legacy will continue to uplift and motovate us to live our lives with purpose, empathy and love. You will be deeply missed, but your impact will never be forgotten.
