Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving friends at the Mariposa House Hospice on Tuesday October 15, 2024 in her 78th year.
Nancy was a proud member of Wild Orillia Women Red Hat Society, Sassy Divas and Foxy Ladies of the North. Past president for Pine Grove Women’s Institute, Washago Lioness, Volunteer for Telecare, Cancer Society, ODAC, and Volunteer for other organizations over the years.
Beloved wife of Bobbie Wigle predeceased. Beloved daughter of Francis Elliott Predeceased of Calgary and John Elliott predeceased of Toronto. Dear mother of Elk Anstey of Australia, Nana of grandson Elijah Raven Anstey, great nana of Jamica, Jade Anstey of Australia. Predeceased by sister Sharon Elliott. Survived by Linda and Sandy of B.C. and Calgary Alberta and nieces and nephew Colin McCarney of Calgary, Alberta.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held on Wednesday October 23, 2024 at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, Orillia at 11 A.M. A reception will follow. Following the reception the interment of cremated remains will take place at St. Paul’s Union Cemetery, Lake St. George. In leu of flowers, memorial donations to the Orillia S.P.C.A. would be appreciated.
