Remembering Michael John Krawczuk 'Mike'

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Michael John Krawczuk on Thursday October 3, 2024. Mike was the beloved husband and best friend of Susan (nee Canning) for 48 years. Loving father of Michael, Amanda and Kaitlyn (Will). Adoring grampa to Tristan and Trinity. Beloved brother of Mary (Romeo).  Mike will be greatly missed by his mother-in-law Rean Canning, Pauline, Pat, Albert (Dan), Robb (Clint) and by his nieces and nephews Cathy, Walter (Liz), Borden (Rose), Nadia, Riley (Amanda) and Lauren (John). Also by his great nieces and nephews Michael, Matthew, Michael, Andrew, Jesse, Ryan, Jake, Christopher and Evelyn. Predeceased by parents John and Anna, sisters Gail (Senna), Anna (Borden), father-in-law Albert Canning, brother-in-law Michael Canning and nephew John Boucher.

Mike was an avid guitar player and in his latter years he enjoyed jamming, discussing, reminiscing and shopping music with his dear friend Byron Stiles. He also enjoyed watching wrestling so Friday and Monday nights were always reserved for the main event at the Krawczuk household!

Mike’s family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for their endless care and support. And a special thanks to the staff and management of Champlain Manor who went above and beyond to ensure Mike’s comfort and care during his time spent with them.
