Remembering David Richard Allan Duncan

Born in St. George, Ontario on January 16, 1962, to Norma Duncan (Martin) and Charlie Duncan. Died September 5, 2024 at the age of 62 in Orillia, Ontario, at home with his family by his side.

Cherished father of Amber and Alex, beloved grandfather of Piper and Sawyer. Treasured brother of Carol Springall (the late Al), Joan Clarke (Jason), and Paul Duncan (Beth). Loved by many nieces and nephews, best friend Tracy Croome, and pup Remi. Dave served his communities well in his careers at Casino Rama (20 years), Trehaven Golf & Country Club, and Golds Shoe Service in Barrie (20 years). He found joy in umpiring for North Dufferin Baseball League and coaching youth sports, among other admirable contributions through his years in St. George.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11:30 am with service to follow at 1:30 pm at Carson Funeral Home, located at 54 Coldwater Street East, Orillia.

Guests are invited to join the family for reception and refreshments after the service at St. Paul’s Centre, located next door at 62 Peter Street North, Orillia, until 4:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations in Dave’s name to Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority or St. Paul’s Centre.
