Richard passed away suddenly at home in Midland on Tuesday September 3, 2024, in his 70th year. He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother, friend, and a quiet helper to anyone who needed it. When he was well enough, he enjoyed hiking and riding his bike.
Richard will be sadly missed by his daughters Danielle (Choya) Fraser and Denise (Taras) Chmil, by his grandchildren Robyn, Harper, Oskar, and Xavier, and by his siblings Catherine (Jack) Hayward, Dennis (Ella) Dusome, Brenda Dusome, Phil (Edwina) Dusome, and Paul (Kelly) Dusome, and by his sister in laws Sandie and Alison. Richard is predeceased by his brothers Raymond and William. Cremation has taken place.
The family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel 290 First St. Midland (705)526-6551 on Friday September 13, 2024 from 11am until time of service in the chapel at 1 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice and would be appreciated by the family.
