At the break of dawn on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland, Nadine Theresa Adams passed away peacefully with family by her side in her 76th year. Nadine (nee Blackburn) was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Marcia Blackburn (nee Wear). She is survived by her husband of 50 years Ernie Adams, and children Ryan (Joanne) and Marla. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Elizabeth, Katelyn, Noah, Luke, Mia and Michael. Nadine is pre-deceased by her brother Tim (Joyce) and is survived by her sister Madeline, and brothers Mark and Matthew. Nadine’s Catholic faith was the cornerstone of her life and this was evident in her character. She radiated happiness and kindness with her angelic smile. Above all, Nadine cherished her family. Her devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren was unwavering. Her love knew no bounds. Her passing was a reflection of her life; a struggle filled with immense blessings. Nadine’s family would like to express their gratitude to the Care Partner PSW’s and the Villa Care Centre’s Cardinal Unit for providing Nadine with such wonderful care. The family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel 290 First ST. Midland, Ontario (705)526-6551 on Monday September 9, 2024 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. A mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday September 10, 2024 at 2:30 p.m.. Interment to follow at St. Margaret’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Nadine’s family is requesting donations be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
