Peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital with her family by her side on Thursday May 23, 2024 at the age of 79. Elizabeth Simcoe of Rama, Will be missed and always loved by her children Kim Charmaine Deyman (Simcoe), Shawn Gordon (Kelly) Simcoe and Liza Ann Simcoe-Kim (Andrew Kim predeceased). Loving grandmother of Nicole, Tyler (Brittany), Joshua (Kristy), Dawson, Seth, Victoria and Tabitha. Cherished great grandmother of Binaakwe, Maleeha, Nova, Nevaeh and Julia. Daughter of the late Janet and Gordon Simcoe. Predeceased by her brother Alan Simcoe. Aunt to Kara (Corrine), Angie, Steven and great niece Riel. Will be sadly missed by her cousin and best friend Donna Muir (Terry) as well as many other family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Carson Funeral Homes L. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Tuesday May 28, 2024 from 4-7 P.M. The funeral service will be held from the Rama United Church, 5896 Rama Rd., Rama on Wednesday May 29, 2024 at 12 Noon. Interment to follow at Rama Cemetery, Rama. If desired, memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation, South Lake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, the Rama Maawnjiydiwag Gtigaan or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
