Remembering Maude Ethel Mary Beaton (nee Smith)

Passed away peacefully at the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Orillia, on Saturday September 17, 2011 in her 85th year. Maude Beaton, of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Robert Beaton. Loving mother of Marilyn (Robert) Voth of Strathmore Alberta, Robert (Donna) Beaton of Lindsay, Shirley (James) Martin of Orillia, Annie Andrews (Ron MacDonald of Orillia, and Edward (Helen) Thompson of Carstars Alberta; grandmother of Heather (Peter), Doug (Shawna), Maureen, Neil, Charlotte (Leigh), Sherry (John), Melaney (David), and Barbara-Jean; great grandmother of Alisha, Tyler, Matthew, Devin, Eli, Kendra, John-Robert, Courtney, Zackery, Jackson, and Riley. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM. A funeral service will be celebrated in the chapel on Thursday September 22, 2011 at 1 o’clock; interment to follow at Knox Cemetery, Oro. If desired memorial donations in lieu of flowers to Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
