Born April 14, 1938 died suddenly at her home in Orillia on Friday, August 25, 2023 at the age of 85. Bertie Sallows, beloved wife of the late Kenneth Sallows. Loved daughter of the late George & Hazel Robinson. Predeceased by her brother Arnold Robinson and her sister Barbra Wilson and husband George. Survived by her sister in law Margaret Robinson. Bertie will be missed by all of her nieces, nephews and good friends at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church. Bertie was a long time volunteer at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Helping Hands and was well known for visiting of the elderly and for driving people for their appointments. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate Bertie’s life will be held at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, 429 Jamieson Dr., Orillia, on Wednesday September 13, 2023 at 1 P.M. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Vasey Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, Orillia would be appreciated.
