Remembering Arnel Rockburn

Your presence we miss, your memory we treasure, loving you always, forgetting you never.” God took another angel home.

Arnel Fernando Rockburn passed away very suddenly and peacefully February 27th 2023 in his 66th year at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital.

In loving treasured memories he leaves behind his three children - His beautiful daughter and his only "my girl" Amanda (Jason) Rockburn-White, Daniel (Ashley), Chase (Darcie). Poppa to Avery, Zev, Matteo and Arlo. He will be greatly missed by his oldest brother Fern (Rita) Rockburn, and his loving and caring companion, his private nurse and babe, Debra.

He left behind special memories to treasure by his extended family, neices and nephews, cousins, many friends and Debra's family whom he loved and cherished dearly.

Predeceased by his parents Harry and Jacqueline Rockburn, and brothers Camille and Normand.

Arnel's passion was his love for country music, playing guitar from age 4 and his amazing voice took him many places as a musician and he gained a multitude of friendships.

He loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved to feed his family and friends with wild game and fish.

Arnel was a very caring and loving guy, always willing to lend a hand, cook a meal, be a chauffer and was the best story teller ever. He could put a smile on anyone's face. His hugs and kisses came from his genuine heart and will always be remembered for being a man of music, a strong voice, a great memory and a man who praised his loved ones.

Arnel will make his final resting place with his parents in his hometown of Mattawa, Ontario. We will celebrate Arnel's life at a Celebration of Life at later date.

Arrangements entrusted to the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Home 54 Coldwater Street E., Orillia, Ontario 705-326-3595.
