Jan 12, 2025Rest in peace and happiness Illya. You were taken from this world too soon even though you had so much to offer us….. “Beethoven Lives Upstairs” will forever hold the deepest & most special place in my heart, but I KNOW for a fact that you were one of the top contributors to the success of that movie plus the glamorous result! The whole cast for that film was exceptionally gifted!! I say without hesitation that each and every one of you portrayed your respective characters with such passion, emotion, heart & soul, and much more which couldn’t have been done better by anyone else. I believe that “Beethoven Lives Upstairs” played an extremely significant role in my general childhood and especially my musical upbringing. I don’t think I’d be successfully studying music at conservatory (piano performance), composing, conducting, or anything of the sort if it weren’t for the inspiration you guys gave to me through means of the film! I’m also quite certain that I speak for countless others when I say we became better musicians and people because of the encouragement we gained! It’s such a tragically unfortunate shame that we lost you dear Illya at such a young age and that you weren’t eternally recognized for your impeccable service to the acting industry. I (along with hopefully SO many others) promise to keep your memory & of course your LEGACY alive forever, and we will always make sure you never are forgotten!! RIP Illya Woloshyn

Sep 25, 2024RIP my friend. Loved watching you as a Jay Ziegler in the series The Odyssey, I was of the same age at the time and looked forward every week to your latest adventure in Downland. Rest easy as you now go on your own Odyssey adventure into Downland and I hope you find forever peace.
