Remembering James Edward Gough 'Jim'

Passed peacefully at Soldier's Memorial Orillia on Monday July 4th, 2022. Born March 22, 1945 to Frederick Edward Gough (1987) and Elizabeth Jean Gough (1994) in Toronto, Ontario. Big brother to Douglas (1996) and Bruce. Loving father to Jeanette Underhill and Judi Gough (Yves St Martin). Doting Grandpa/Poppa to Hope Edward and Charlotte Underhill. James will be sadly missed by friends Alexandria Underhill and Elisabeth Gough, as well as many cousins and close friends. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at St. Pauls Centre (62 Peter St N, Orillia, ON L3V 4Z1) for a Celebration of Life on Saturday July 23rd, 2022 at 11:00am. The family encourages all to wear Jim's favourite colour red. Jim always loved a good party, almost as much as he enjoyed summers at the cottage on Lake Simcoe until eventually seeing his dream come true and living there year-round. A toast to his life with a bonfire will follow at the family cottage (weather permitting). In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Lung Association or the charity of choice, would be appreciated by the family and will be accepted by Carson Funeral Homes – L.Doolittle Chapel  (54 Coldwater St. E Orillia, Ontario 705-326-3595).
