Remembering Kenton Kenneth Snache

Kenton Kenneth Snache, 68 years of age, started his journey to the spirit world on June 22, 2022. Son of Irene and the late Kenneth Snache. Father of Mandy Simcoe (Jason), Sparrow Rose (Dino), Samantha Snache and Kory Snache. Grandfather of Madilynn, Skyanne, Mateo, Waasayaaban, Minokmi giizis. Brother of Elvis Snake, Lisa Snache, Lennox Snache (Priscilla), Kelli Snache (Frank), Jay Snake, Tracey Snache, Johnny Snake (Danielle), pre-deceased by brother Faron and sister Tina Snache. An uncle of many nieces and nephews. A man with great love and passion for his family and friends, the outdoors, reading and his community, he will be remembered and missed by many. Kenton was a proud member of the Iron Workers and Carpenters Unions. The family thanks the staff at the Rama Health & Social Services Centre, especially Christine for the care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rama First Nation Public Library would honour Kenton’s love for reading. Family and friends are welcome to visit and share in celebrating his life on Monday June 27 between 3pm and 5pm at the Rama Community Hall. As per Kenton’s wishes, his ashes will then be placed on Chief Island followed by further celebration at Kenton’s home between 7pm and 9pm to raise a drink in his memory!
