Remembering Gladys Hawn

Passed peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Tuesday May 7, 2019 in her 90^th year.  Gladys, predeceased by her husband Bruce and by her son Gregory, will be sadly missed by her son Murray (Janice), and Daughters Maureen Hawn Bristow (Tim Bristow) and Angela Hawn (Mike Budding).  Gladys will be cherished by her grandchildren Julie (Winston) Hawn Ernst, Lindsay (Erik) Krisjanssan, Marsha (Matt) Seibel, Madeline “Maddie” Hawn Budding and Isobel Hawn Budding, and by her great grandchildren Darwin and Alexander Ernst, and Holden and Hope Krisjanssan, and by many nieces and nephews.  Gladys is predeceased by her brothers Reg, Carl (Audrey), and Max Tryon and by her sister Hazel (Edgar) Chambers, and is survived by her sisters in law Judy Tryon and Lorna Tryon.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Monday May 13, 2019 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m.  Funeral services will take place in the chapel in Tuesday May 14, 2019 at 1 o’clock.  Burial to follow at St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Parkinson’s Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
