Remembering Gwendolyn Constance Hollinger 'Gwen'

(Very active and long time member of St. James’ Anglican Church, Orillia) Our matriarch, Gwendolyn Constance Hollinger died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday January 10, 2016. Gwen Hollinger of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Patrick George Hollinger. Loving mother of Richard (Susan), John (Judith) and P. Gordon (Wendy). Loved grandmother of Shawn (Jennifer), Mindy, Kristina (Christopher), Barbara (Wade), Jessica and Jonathan (Doris) and great grandmother of Becky, Braydon, Emmie, Paige, Gwendolyn, Charles, Lois and Presley. Predeceased by her parents Richard and Ada Beck and by her brother Arthur Beck. Special thanks goes to the doctors and nursing staff of Soldiers’ I and Community Tower 4 for all of their care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service will be held from St. James’ Anglican Church, corner of Coldwater and Peter Streets, Orillia on Friday morning, January 15, 2016 at 11 o’clock. Interment, St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. James’ Anglican Church Steeple Fund would be appreciated by the family.
