Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Villa Care Centre in Midland on Friday December 19, 2014 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband “Wils”, will be sadly missed by her children Catherine of London, Jane (Michael) Ingham of Ottawa, and Mark of Midland. Joyce is lovingly remembered by her 7 grandchildren Scott, Robin, Adam, Andrew, Jessica, Matthew, and Kirsten. Proud great grandmother of 5 Grace, Oliver, Alice, Daena and Kai. Joyce will be cherished by her sister Olga (Walter) Drennan of Toronto and her niece Shirlie Miller. Joyce is predeceased by her sister Alice and brother in-law (Hugh) Johnstone, and brother Clarence, and by her sister in-law Hilda Young. She will be missed by her dear friend Marnie Dubeau. As to Joyce’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family internment will be held at a later date. If desired memorial donations may be made to the ALS of Ontario and will be accepted by Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551.
