Passed peacefully with his family by his side at the Atrium in Orillia on Tuesday August 7, 2018 in his 92nd year. Dave, loving husband to Helen for 66 years, will be sadly missed by his sons Ian (Deborah) and Stuart (Gale), by his grandchildren David (Jolene), Malcolm (Hailey), Leah (Luke), Meaghan (Joe), and Brendan, and by his great grandchildren Henderson, Emmett, Breanna, Oliver, Patrick, and Levon. The family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Thursday August 16, 2018 from 4 – 6 p.m.. A celebration of David’s life will take place at the Orillia Presbyterian Church, St. Andrews, on Friday August 17, 2018 at 11 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Presbyterian Church, St. Andrews Chair Lift Fund and would be appreciated by the family.
