Remembering Jacqueline Carolyn White (nee Contois) 'Carolyn'

It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family of Carolyn White announces her passing on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at home at the age of 78. Cherished mother of Janet Cousineau, Tom Powell (Lisa Vandenhoogen), Susan Powell, Randy Powell, Billy (Marg) White and Lori White. Treasured grandmother of 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear sister of Gary (Judy) McTague, Shirley (Garry) Evans, Edmond (Ilene) McTague, Elton (Pat) Cruise, Donald (Carol) Cruise and Kelvin (Marjorie) Cruise. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. On July 9, 2018, her constant companion, her dog Tiny Tim, passed away and is now with Carolyn. Carolyn worked for the Simcoe County District School for 15 years. She was an Alderman at Midland City Council and she started and ran the Huronia Fiddle Contest in Midland. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the casino and playing cards and bingo. Carolyn loved country music, especially Elvis Presley. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at CARSON FUNERAL HOME, 290 First St., Midland, Ontario on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow.
