WOOD (/MUIR), Gene Ann, RN PHN
July 1, 1937 – July 5, 2018.
Deaconess, Church Of The Good Shepherd.
The former Mrs. Gene Ann MUIR was very close to her
son, Alan Muir. She greatly loved her grandchildren,
Sarah (Chris) Daperis, Beth (Mike) Ventresca, and
Stephen Muir; and all her great-grandchildren. She
was a nurse at Branson Hospital in North York; and a
Public Health Nurse in Muskoka District, Simcoe County
(and Rama First Nation), and Hastings County.
We were matchmade (and later married) by Pastor Art
(and Pearl) LENTZ; and knew that same day, that God
had called us to serve Him together. We did most things
as a team, working in the Maynooth-Madawaska and
Guthrie-Hawkestone Pastoral Charges, and the C.G.S.
A strong member of the Orillia And District Association of
Churches, the Orillia Fellowship Of Evangelical Ministers,
and the Christian Heritage Party; great supporter of Child
Evangelism Fellowship, Wycliffe Bible Translators, and
Bethel House India.
