Passed away at Georgian Bay General Hospital on Sunday November 5, 2017 at the age of 71. Loving wife of Paul and mother of Steve (Nancy), and Christina Maheu. Cherished grandmother of Ashley, Hailey, Bryar and Trevor. Dear sister of Doris Eveneshen, Benjamin Jr. Dempsey. Predeceased by her brothers Fred and Dennis. Betty will be missed by her in-laws, and her many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 on Thursday November 9, 2017 from 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret’s Church on Friday November 10, 2017 at 2pm. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation of St. Margaret’s Mass card would be appreciated by the family if desired.
