Passed peacefully at Champlain Manor in Orillia on Friday November 3, 2017 in her 83rd year. Ruth, predeceased by her husband Ross, will be sadly missed by her son Steve (Barb), and daughters Janet (predeceased), Sharon (Larry), Julie (Gary), and Donna (Chris), by her grandchildren Bradley (Alana), Tyler, Colin, Graeme, Brianna (Rob), Hayley, Merissa, and Addison, by her 5 great grandchildren, and by her many nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Friday November 10, 2017 from 4 – 6 p.m.. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Saturday November 11, 2017 at 1 o’clock. Interment to follow at St. Andrews St. James Cemetery. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Cardiac Care Centre, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #34, Orillia or the charity of your choice.
