Peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Monday October 30, 2017 at the age of 85. Kathryn Mathews of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Albert (Ab) Mathews. Loving mother of Carolyn Mathews and Mark Mathews both of Orillia. Loved grandmother of Shaun, Stephanie and Andrew. Will be sadly missed by her cousin Shirley Abbott, by her nephews Billy, Paul and Rody, and by her nieces Heather, Marilyn and Laurie. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Thursday November 2, 2017 from 7-9 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday afternoon, November 3, 2017 at 1 o’clock. Interment, St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto, would be appreciated by the family.
