Passed away at Georgian Bay General Hospital on Sunday October 22, 2017 at the age of 94. Loving wife of the late Morris Preston. Beloved mother of Allan ( late Margaret), Elinor Contois (Dave), and Jim (Marie). Dorothy will be missed by her grandchildren Marvin, John (Christene), Joyce, Cathy (Richard), Bonnie, Mike (Jen), Mark (Jori), Anthony (Jaquie) and the late Chris (Tammy) and many great grandchildren. Dorothy is predeceased by her siblings Allan, Lavina, and John and also by her son in-law James. Friends will be received at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 on Thursday October 26, 2017 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in our chapel on Friday October 27, 2017 at 11am. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family if desired.
