Remembering Keith Castle Quirk

Passed peacefully with his family by his side at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Wednesday October 11, 2017 in his 92nd year.  Keith will be sadly missed by his children Janice (Daniel) Phillips, Sherry (Karl) Deutschmann, Robin Quirk, Laura Quirk (Ron Armstrong), Amanda Quirk (Stuart Read), and Sarah Quirk (David Sutherland); by his grandchildren Jennie, Nathan, Nigiel, Leisie, Christoph, Caroline, Irene, Natalie, Adaline, and Rowyn, by 3 great grandchildren, and by his brother Richard (Bronwen).  Keith is predeceased by his sister Glenise.  Fifty years after first meeting the love of his life at university he married Amy Fowler Williams in 2002, and together they moved to North Bay.  Keith is predeceased by Amy but will be remembered by Amy’s children Glen, Dale, and Heather Williams.  Keith’s career spanned decades starting as a Doctor in Owen Sound where he delivered over 100 babies, to a career change to psychiatry which he practiced clinically and privately in Halifax for over 20 years, before his move to North Bay where he finished the last 10 years of his working life.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the Old Rectory Reception Centre, 57 Neywash St., Orillia, (Behind Carson Funeral Home) (705) 326-3595, on Friday October 13, 2017 from 9 am until time of service at 9:45 am.  Interment to follow in North Bay.  If desired memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice and would be appreciated by the family
