Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on October 4, 2017 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Harold Ivor Stott, loving sister of Violet and brother, Thomas (predeceased). Loving mother of Adrienne Newman (the late Eric), Leslie Fortune (John), Greg Stott (Debbie) and Peter Stott (Maureen). Loved grandmother of David (Elena), Lara (Andrew), John (Julie), Pamela (Pierre), Brian (Amanda), Gordon (Alannah), Robert (Sarah), Carrie-Ann (Dave), Matthew (Samantha) and Jeanine (Michael) and great grandmother of Leah, Emily, Henry, Thomas, Curtis, Douglas, Desiree, Hunter, Carter, André, Sophie, Juniper and Greer. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Service to celebrate Rose’s life will be held at St. James Anglican Church in Orillia at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 9, 2017. The family will receive guests after the Service. Interment will be at Memory Gardens in Kitchener on Tuesday, October 10 at 11:30 a.m. If desired, memorial donations to the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
