With family by his side, Joe peacefully passed away at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Saturday September 23, 2017 at the age of 86. Son of the late Thomas Pickett and Queenie Burton. Beloved husband of 64 years to Barbara Pickett (Seebeck). Loving father of Joe G. Pickett, Kathy Robinson (Mike), Nancy Zurba (Iwan) and Larry Pickett. Dear grandfather of Mark, John, Mary, Larysa, Stuart and Thomas. Cherished great grandfather of Michelle and Joey. At Joe’s request cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or Canadian Diabetes Association.
