Remembering James Stanley Hardy 'Jim'

Passed peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Saturday July 22, 2017 at the age of 84. Loving husband of the late Shirley Louise Balkwill (2002). Dear companion of the late Marie Denne (2013). Jim will be missed by his children Linda Vollick, William (Bill) (Wilma) Hardy, Wendy George, Ann (Fred) Bolton and Shirley Inche. Cherished grandpa of Paula Vollick; Rebecca Hardy; Leah, Coty & Calvin Hardy; Mathew, Danielle, Alex, Michelle, Nicole and the late Clayton Miller; Travis & Clayton George; Amanda, Jacob and Joshua Inche and great grandpa of Ty, Trent, Trista, Kaylea, Brody, Logan, Owen, Aames, Dominic, Bennett, Ally, Enzo, James and Isabel,. Jim is predeceased by his son Ronald (2010) (Irene Smith) and daughter Bonnie Hardy (2012). Jim will be missed deeply by his “Adopted Children”, extended family and friends. Friends will be received at Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Wednesday July 26, 2017 from 11am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1. Burial to follow at St. Andrew’s St. James Cemetery Orillia. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
