Remembering Robert Stanley MacKay

It's with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Robert Stanley MacKay on June 21, 2017. Robert will be missed dearly by his wife Bonnie Mackay, his children Trina (Henry), Ryan (Diane) and predeceased by his son Ralph. Robert is survived by his siblings Mary Brodie (predeceased Larry), Norman MacKay (Christie), Betty Clark (Pearly), Billy MacKay (Becky), Murray MacKay, Ricky MacKay (Terry), Linda Milner (Doug), and the many nieces, nephews and their children. Robert is predeceased by his father Gordon, his mother Carrie and brothers Jimmy and Bruce Mackay. Robert will also be sorely missed by sister-in-laws Carol Creary (Bob), Marilyn Doyle (David) and their families, along with extended family who were all very close to him and loved him dearly

Robert was the funniest, greatest Papa and will always be remembered fondly by his grandchildren Erica, Alicia and Cristina. Robert was a man who helped in anyway he could, even if he didn't know you and was the go to person for how to fix anything.

The family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 on Saturday July 8, 2017 from 1pm until time of memorial service in the chapel at 2pm. Reception to follow at Carson Funeral Homes Reception Hall.
