Remembering Lloyd Albert Horne

Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday January 25, 2017 at the age of 85. Lloyd Horne of Orillia, beloved husband of Evelyn Horne (nee Beaton). Loving father of Barbara Horne of Orillia, John Horne (Tracey) of Ramara and Carol Bayne (Alan) of Orillia. Loved grandfather of Rebecca Shropshire, Dylan Shropshire, Vanessa Horne, Alexandra Campbell and Justine Bayne. Dear brother of Marion Blogg and the late Doreen. Brother-in-law of John Beaton (Helen) and Bernice Barnett (Ernest) and predeceased by Edward Blogg, Robert (Maude) Beaton, Charles (Louise) Beaton, Annie Beaton, Donald (Jeanne) Beaton, Danny Beaton, Alice Trickett (Alex), Ruth Mowat (John) and Sheila Beaton. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. A special thanks goes to Dr. Reinders, Dr. Hartsburg, nurse Sherri Forbes-Taylor, all the nurses from Bayshore and the PSW’s from ParaMed. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Friday January 27, 2017, from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service will be held on Saturday January 28, 2017 at 1 o’clock from Esson Presbyterian Church, 1340 Old Barrie Rd. E., Oro-Medonte. Spring interment Esson Presbyterian Cemetery.
