Remembering Robert Albert Alexander Nichols 'Bob'

Peacefully at home on Thursday December 22, 2016 at the age of 74. Robert (Bob) Nichols of Orillia, beloved husband of Joan Nichols. Loving father of Lisa Davy of Orillia and Christina Hardie (Jim Knox) of Washago. Loved grandfather of Ryan, Michelle (Brandon Mitchell), Amanda and Jessica (Jesse McPeake). Cherished great grandfather of Naya and Greyson. Predeceased by his sisters Dorothy Cressey and Mildred Cole. Son-in-law of Zella Freethy of Orillia and brother-in-law of Faye & Peter Smith of Orillia. The family would like to thank Dr. James Tazzeo, Nurse Melanie and all the P.S.W.’s with Care Partners for all of their help, care and kindness given to Bob and our family during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Paul’s United Church 62 Peter St. N., Orillia on Monday January 2, 2017 from 11 A.M. until time of Memorial service at 1 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
