Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Georgian Bay General Hospital Midland, on Wednesday November 30, 2016 at the age 89. Beloved wife of Donald. Loving mother of Grant and Ian (Georgina). Cherished grandma of Jeremy (Jen), Jonathan (Mary), Daniel (Carmen), Melina (Neil) Monks and Laura Dowdell and great grandma of Isaac, Charlie, Emma, Megan, Aiden, Jaylinn, Jordan and Ronin. Lois is survived by her brother Keith Metcalfe. Lois is predeceased by her brother Neil Metcalfe. Lois will be missed by her extended family and friends. Family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 on Friday December 9, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral service will be held on Saturday December 10, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church Midland at 1pm. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family if desired.
