Remembering Lorraine Grace Greenaway Masters (nee Winnacott)

Passed peacefully at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Tuesday November 29, 2016 in her 88th year.  Lorraine, loving mother to Yvonne (George), Diane (Paul), and Maureen (Lorimer), will be lovingly remembered by her 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, by her brothers Bruce Winnacott, Frank (Pat) Winnacott, Ron Winnacott, by her sisters Bev Kellie and Sheila (John) Clayton, and by her daughter in law Susan Greenaway.  Lorraine is predeceased by her first husband Frank Greenaway and her son Paul, and will be remembered by her husband Melvin Masters.  Lorraine was always very community minded.  She was a long-time member of the Housey’s Rapids Free Methodist Church, the Women’s Institute Quilting Club, and she was an Avon Representative for 47 years.  A special thank you to Dr. O’Shaughnessy and all of the nurses on the second floor at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital for their care.  A memorial service to celebrate Lorraine’s Life will take place at Carson Funeral Homes – L.Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Saturday December 3, 2016 at 1 o’clock.  Memorial donations to The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation would be appreciated by the family if desired.
