Passed away peacefully at Georgian Bay General Hospital with his family by his side on Saturday November 19, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Carol Hallahan. Loving father of Catherine Hallahan, Daniel and John. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Jason) Shpak and Adam Hallahan and great grandfather of Allysha. Murray will be sadly missed by his brothers Wilfred, and Jim, his sisters Loretta Davis and Dorothy Kenney. Murray is predeceased by his daughter Susan Hallahan, and brother Joseph. Friends will be received at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 on Friday November 25, 2016 from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm. Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday November 26, 2016 at 1 o’clock. Burial will be held at Victoria Harbour Union Cemetery in the spring. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family if desired.
