Remembering Florence Niddery

(Long time member of the Orillia TIE club, St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, and 20 year Volunteer at Soldiers Memorial Hospital)

Passed peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Friday October 14, 2016 in her 96th year.  Florence, predeceased by her husband Norman, will be sadly missed by her sons Brian (Kasia), Gord, and Wayne (Sonoe), by her grandchildren Sara (Kirk), Elissa (Ian), Karl (Kat), Derek (Cara),and Curtis, and by her great grandchildren Aleksander, Cameron, Victoria, Paige, Malcolm, Liam, and Lucas, by her sister Joyce Burr, and by many nieces and nephews.  Florence is predeceased by her daughter in law Jane and granddaughter Sherry.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Wednesday October 19, 2016 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm.  Funeral service will take place in the chapel on Thursday October 20, 2016 at 11 o’clock.  Interment to follow at St. Andrews St. James Cemetery.  If desired memorial donations may be made to Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
