Remembering Larry Verdun Howell

Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Sunday September 25, 2016 at the age of 83. Larry Howell of Orillia, beloved husband of 63 years to Joyce Howell (nee Surgenor). Loving father of David Howell (Cindy) of Orillia, Brian Howell (Maureen) of Regina and Jeanne Howell (Ernie Taylor) of Orillia. Loved by his grandchildren Nathaniel Howell (Afoah) of Toronto, Keenan Howell of St. Catharines, Bryn Howell and Laine Howell both of Regina. Cherished great grandfather of Zande Howell and Nazarene Howell both of Toronto. Larry will be sadly missed by many other extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Friday October 7, 2016 from 12 noon until time of Memorial Service at 1 o’clock. Interment of cremated remains will take place at St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to the Orillia Branch of the S.P.C.A. or the Comfie Cat Shelter, Orillia would be appreciated by the family.
